VGA's Didn't Happen...

Well, shoot. I was kinda disappointed that an official announcement was not made public at the 2010 Video Game Awards. Now, I don't even know if they will release it. You would think that if they wanted everyone to get hyped, they would say something a little early. not, you know, like 150 days before it releases (by means of E3 2011)! I don't know, but don't lose faith my friends! There is always the E3 2011 running from June 7-9!
I can't wait!

First bit!

Microsoft's freshly-formed internal Halo studio, 343 Industries, is working on a Halo: Combat Evolved remake.

That's according to "industry chatter" reported in the new Games Master magazine, which writes that the updated game could run on the Halo: Reach engine and arrive ahead of a full Halo 3 sequel in late 2012.

If true, the remade Halo: Combat Evolved could release on the original's tenth anniversary, which falls on November 15, 2011.

Microsoft has previously expressed interest in adopting an annual release model for the Halo series, and this would certainly fit that nicely.

Plus, when asked, UK Xbox boss boss Stephen McGill seemed to be in favour of a remake, telling Eurogamer earlier this month: "I imagine it's a good idea".

"I think some people want to go back to older games and see them revisited and I think a lot of developers want to see that too," he said.
I'm certainly up for this.

Welcome to Halo... Again...

Well everyone remembers when Steve Jobs showed Halo off to everyone back in 1999. And everyone remembers how Microsoft made sure that Halo would never see the light of day on a Mac. And, last of all, everyone remembers sitting out side a Wal-mart, Target, Gamestop, What have you, for a few hours just to pick up your copy of Halo: Combat Evolved with your new, revolutionary Xbox gaming console on November 15, 2001.
Well, now, almost ten years later, it might be coming again. A new, Re-released Halo game... which I have a few title choices for; Re:Halo, Halo Forerunner, Halo 2011, or even Halo: Re:Combat Evolved.
So, what am I, MixMasterChief, here to tell you? I'm going to posting all Halo Remake news I can grab, and post it right here. So, strap your self in, its gonna be a bumpy ride!
